so this is what...
the northern riders feel like in the winter. beginning to feel like cabin fever with all this heat going on. i haven't felt this kind of heat in florida in years, heat advisories everyday so far.
so just wondering what you all are doing in this heat and not able to ride as much as we use to. read some of the "coming down next week" thread and reading how hot it is. we spent the day in HOTlanta at a football field saturday, still here by the way, heading south in a few hours.
so like i said just wondering what everyone is doing now to keep cool and passing their time away.

We still got about a 150 mile ride in yesterday but were pretty well cooked by the time we got home. Jumped in the pool and didn't stray far from it for the next couple hours. I would have loved to do the Solomons Castle ride but 8 hours of riding in the heat would have been way too much for me on a day like yesterday. The heat might limit my riding but I'll still be out having fun.

Dang Mike, I wish I had though about it and I would have met you guys in Lake Wales and rode back with him. I was just out riding solo with no destination. I really enjoyed his company for the ride down, and then getting to meet everyone once we got there.

Yea! It was great to meet you and see some of the others I haven't seen in a while.
I am proud of Derek! He has always been a good kid. He got the smarts from his momma.
