O.K. how bout some ideas for our next ride. the Mexico Beach ride was Great. Gonna be tough to top that one. Fernandina Beach? Savanah? St. Augustine? Timbuktu?

How about Fernandina Beach? 1. Have not been there 2. My butt can't handle Savannah just yet

I might be into a ride to Fernandina beach if it is on a weekend I can get off.

Fernandina Beach works for me although up for St Aug as well but been there lots .. Fernandina has been a while.. if wanted to do Savannah to truly enjoy would have to make it an overnight from where I am anyway.. Savannah is a good 100 miles even after cross the GA border...

Jay, Hope we get to see you. This bunch (The "Wild Bunch") likes to RIDE. Be glad honestbob didn't suggest North Carolina for lunch.

Hey, a ride to Fernandina beach sounds good to me too. Would have to be after May 9th, preferably on a Saturday for me.

I'm thinking about joining the ride to Cedar Key also, I have to check on that date too. I like it over there.

Focused now on my trip to NC/TN (May 2nd through ...... maybe back 8th, or 9th or 10th...LOL).


Can I suggest Saturday May 16th for our Fernandina run? (Looks like Ceder Key is scheduled for Saturday May 30th.)

Savannah? Why not. We can save the "short" rides for later. I'm calling Mustang and getting a new seat, tonight. Also we need to leave at 6AM so we make it home in the daylight. Sefferdog, can I put the quieter baffles in the pipes I have? Currently the Rush slip-ons with 2.0. Savannah is 243 miles one-way you joker.

I knew you didn't want a wimpy ole 100 mile ride Rick!!! I like the idea of leaving at 6:00AM as well.

And yes, they make a 1.5 that is supposed to be a good bit quieter. I had the 1.75 and they were quieter than the 2.0's also.

Here is a pic from my ride today.. Ocala Forest to Palatka to St. Aug down A1a, rode the loop and in to Daytona. Down Main St. and on home.

You North Florida folks come join us at Cedar Key on May 30. Some of us are staying overnight. Should be a good time.
