NOOO!!! Not splitting off. It is the N. Fla. chapter of the Florida crew. Our motto is Ride, Boldy Ride. Bob coined that from the Poe poem. We are still a part of the Fla. crew

Hey 1of2, Google up Poes poem "Eldorado". Some of us in the N. Fla crew were trying to get a ride in to Mexico beach and every Monday the weather would be too bad. Made me think about the poem and kinda became our motto.

 

Gaily bedight,
A gallant night
In sunshine and in shadow,
Had journeyed long,
Singing a song,
In search of El Dorado.

But he grew old --
This knight so bold --
And -- o'er his heart a shadow
Fell as he found
No spot of ground
That looked like El Dorado.

I am looking forward to riding with you guys when I can. It has been really hard for me to coordinate anything but I'll get it together with you guys one of these days. Hopefully soon.

 

Looking forward to riding with you. We are getting a good riding crew worked up here, loads of fun, but you already know that!

 

It is good to see more people getting together a little closer to me. The southern guys are awesome but too far for a day ride for me.

1of2 hope you can join us for the Fernandino Beach ride. Sundays work for me if it is easier for more crew. Had to take off the bottom pipe to get the old baffle out and get ready for the new ones on Friday. Sefferdog, I am starting to remember how to use hand tools. Think it scares the hell out of my wife when I start taking the Harley apart. Baffles came out easily with the help of WD-40. Can't wait to get the new parts. Come on UPS!!!
