So who's going and what's the plan.

Wife and I will go for a day like we did for Daytona.

From what Im hearing, lot's say they like Leesburg better.

Wheres the best burger up there?

missing it this year, love the riding up there, don't care for vendors and traffic downtown.

 

I may ride up on Sunday. I don't really drink anymore and I'm not much for walking around in the heat. So if I go I'll probably park my butt on the main drag and watch the comings and goings. then head on home.

 

Sounds pretty decent.

I'll drop in for about 1 1/2 hrs with several others. Then head off, ride thru Mt. Dora. Head further west to stay at a favorite location.

Next morning, head back over for abt 1 1/2 hrs then ride back home.

Last time I was there was my 1st biker event abt 11 yrs ago. I understand it is TOTALLY different now. MUCH busier.

I might stop by Sun on a return trip from the west coast. I don't know if its better than Daytona, but the town does a good job at making you feel welcome. Of course its easier to put up with the crowds & noise of an event that lasts 3 days vs 10 days.

 

I think I'll head over on Friday and get a T-Shirt (before all the 2X sizes are gone). I may head back on Saturday to check out the bikes, and listen to the bands. I went last year. It's a fun time.

 

We're heading down on Thursday and will be there for the entire weekend. This will be our first time. Have a couple of rides planned thanks to a everyone responding to a previous thread. May even head over to Daytona one day as the wife has never been.

 

Not going...got roped into a 48 hr shift friday and Saturday...

 

I'm at Leesburg now. If you want a Bikefest T-shirt in 2X, you better get here soon. They are almost wiped out.

 

Might go Saturday. Had a great time last year. Saw the Outlaws play. Great show.
