Default 2017 Breakout CVO Pro Street Tuning

I just bought a 2017 Breakout Pro Street and want to tune it. I know what Im doing and have tuned my 2012 Fatboy lo since I bought it. My question is with the Screaming Eagle Pro Tuner can I tune it the same as my 2012, or has the EPA and the lawsuit made it not worth buying another interface? I looked in the software and it looks like I can do it just the same but I wanted some clarification. It does have tunes for the 2017. Thanks!!

You are good to go. Pick the appropriate calibration and SmartTune away.

Doesn't he need a new device? AFAIK the device locks to the bikes serial number and cannot be used on any other bike..

If you can find a SE pro tuner it would be the same as before. The program has had some options removed but it is still usable. If you can only get the pro street tuner. I would recommend another tuner. The Pro Street Tuner does not allow you to change target AFR, and VE's can only be changed so much. Something close to 6% more or less fuel. So, it really depends on how close the starter cal is. I didn't go through the whole thing to see about timing and such. Target and VE's told me enough that I do not want to ever tune with it.
