With all the fuss about the new engine, would the dual plugs and direct injection change the way the current ECM / tuners work? If so would a new tuning System need to be developed?
Until they get released its all here-say, but my guess would be Yes that new software changes are coming. How much and how little we will all see in about three weeks when the bikes are released. I understand the release date to be 8/23/16 on them.

You think HD will ever do as what I believe a lot of the Auto industry is doing and track write count to the ECM? I know on my 2016 RAM Cummins 3500, the dealer can tell if it has been flashed because their system knows the write count to the ECM, if it is greater than what they have, they know its been tampered with.
