scott, the flash tuner doesn't connect to the dyno

the PV2 connects to a laptop or PC where they then use winPV to create or alter a map, its the same with SERT, TTS

the dyno has its own software , data collection, signals etc which provide the basis to create/alter a map, basic stuff

the map is flashed to the bike

if you have loaded maps onto the PV2 then its working, sounds like they making something up, programmer/tuner is not there, on holidays and they just done a run on dyno

Ok, I am attaching my latest tune.

I do have a log file, but I don't know if there is anything there as I can not open it. I have a copy of MegaLog Viewer HD and it will not open the file. When I check the file extension it is a .pvv I do not see any where in WinPV to make it a .csv file. Of course it could just be empty. I will attach it anyway.

I will get another log file next time I get out to ride. Possibly tomorrow.

Upgraded-PVAT is the tune.
PVAT-011 is supposed to be a log.

Thanks.

Right, so most likely the 'tuner' does not know how to use a PV and instead of just being honest they just made something up.

I doubt that I will ever speak to that person. Nevertheless, I will get this beast tuned one way or another.

That is an autotune file. You need a regular log file to see anything useful.

This is the list of fields I tend to log on a Sporty.

Yours may have knock fields also

Acel Enr
Advance F
Advance R
Decl Enl
ET
Front AFF
Front CLI
Front O2 V
Gear (The first one)
Idle Set
INJ PW F
INJ PW R
MAP
Rear AFF
Rear CLI
Rear O2 V
RPM
Set AFR
TP
VE Front
VE New Front
VE New Rear
VE Rear

IMO If your build is in your signature. Take your bike to Chad at WOC and finish up that build by a professional dyno tune.

Yes, that is the the build. The only things different is I have HAMMERS 3" AC and a set of Rush 1.75" Slip-ons. Just have not updated the sig until I get a better pic to go with it.

WOC is an option that I am considering, although it is a little far. I am going to contact one more local shop to see what they can do, if I do not feel comfortable I will contact Chad.

Andy, I will see about getting a log run after work today and post it up for you.

Thanks.

It does appear you have issues going on. When I look at MAP, RPM and o2 voltage Front and Rear, you have a fair difference front and rear. MAPxRPM vs DutyCycle looks suspect....

You are not on closed loop anywhere in that log. I am not sure if that is what you intended to do or not.

Andy
