Was going down I 64 through Louisville ky and just cruising along a sudden accident right in front of me left me no choice but to sway suddenly to the left **** was flying off cars I was in the grass and running around 60 mph at this point I counter steered toward the road and when getting back on freeway hit two pot holes right away !! It all happened in about 5 seconds but felt like a hour !!! I stopped and ran back to the cars and they were on the side of road no one hurt and a off duty cop was on scene and said he was two cars behind me and said he never seen a motorcycle throw rooster tails 4 or 5 feet in the air behind it and come back after he saw what I did he pointed back at the spot where I was off road and you could see the violent sudden moves I made off road and I looked at him and said I have a car tire on the rear he looked at it and smiled and said thank god and thank that tire for not losing grip or it could have been bad !! Then I felt my shaking and I just smiled ! So all you haters on car tires can kiss my *** im never going back to a mc tire !!

 

First of all, glad yer okay!!!! Secondly, can ya tell me what ya ride, and what you've done to make yer Austone work? I put one on yesterday, but I can't run over 70, and even that's a stretch.

I ride a 2004 road king custom ! I put 13" shocks on rear off my 2002 road king classic I trimed the belt gaurd ! I took all existing wheel weights off and put a bottle and a half of ride on in for peace of mind !!

 

Oh yeah !! my underware are not going in my washer I had to replace them LOL !!

 

Just ordered one, came with a choice of tighty whity or bikini briefs...

 

Yeah I went with tighty whiteys but could have used depends !! LOL

 

I really hate that my fender is offset...I might talk to my service mgr. next time I take the bike to them....my Austone is going on EBay tomorrow ...
