Default Happy Momma Dance

I have been able to talk to my son on IM off and on. Today he popped on and shared a pic with me of him receiving his promotion to Specialist.
I am beaming with pride.

Be proud, momma. I have been gone a while and was wondering how your boy was doing. I should have known there was nothing to worry about. You just keep counting down the days. Tell him we all said hello.

I have not been around much either. Work, holidays, family, and have gotten involved in PGR. Been very busy. 6 missions last month- the last 2 weeks with 2 missions each week.

Son and I don't always get to talk on a regular basis between the time difference and he does night missions. Every night I go out and find the brightest star... I send all my love in that star. When he goes out at night he can look up in the sky and find the brightest star and he can get all my love..
So even when I can't talk to him... he can get my love.

He will remember that forever. I am 40 years old and have been going places like this since I was 18. The one person I knew I could always count on to keep in touch with me is my mom. She still does it, except now she has discovered e-mail. Trust me, he thinks about you all the time, I can feel it. You can see it in that picture, too. In the look on his face.
Mom still drops cards in the mail for me. I have them going back 23 years. They are some of my most prized possessions. Are we mama's boys, you bet. (but don't let our buddies know).

Ken,

How do you like Albert Lea? (lived in Minnsnowta for 35 years).

Waiting to hear from him... its been a few days. Hate these communication blocks. They drive us momma's crazy. Waiting to hear how long he re-upped for. ; )
