The wife has been pretty good about sending just about everything else, but this one is a tough task for her. Your genorisity will be greatly appreciated.

Do we just box 'em up and take them to the post office or is there a better way to ship to you?

The cheapest and easiest way to ship to the troops is to use the box the Post Office provides free of charge. They give you the box/tape/label and ship, regardless of weight, for a price usually under 10 bucks. Standard shipping is a shipping rate to New York City. I would certainly be happy to help with the shipping. We are in a somewhat remote location with no PX. So access is the issue more than anything.

Just in time for Armed Forces Day. I got a few Moto mags to send, How about some Mens Health and Mens Fitness magazines, would you want those too? Cuz I'm about to toss out those.
We all appreciate what you guys do for us over there.

There are a number of us buying Harley's on the way home. It is the biggest motivator to get from day to day for a lot of us. I couldn't wait until redeployment, I ordered mine to be delivered while home for two weeks leave!

Here in Ghazni there is no Post Exchange. No place to buy any sort of magazines. The request for motorcycle magazines comes from the groups excitement over buying new bikes. We certainly wouldn't turn down any form of entertainment or connection to the civilized world. Any magazines will be welcomed! We are all guys though, so Women's magazines don't do us much good.

Thanks to everyone for all the support!

I'll go through them all tonight and hit up the post office tomorrow morning on my way to the Armed Forces Day show at the Picatinny Arsenal. I'm going with my dad who is a retired Lt. Col. (he's old school army, 73 yrs old)

So William, What kind of bike did you buy? How bought the rest of the guys?
