Travis AFB, CA, 2000 - Present (not retiring anytime soon)
Prior to switching over to Air Force Reserve served 10 years Active Duty in the SEABEES & 11 years Naval Reserve as an EOD Diver (NEC 5331) On the West Coast. I wear the Air Force uniform but I'm still a Chief inside (the old ways die hard.)
I salute those in the "Sandbox"

My nephew Zach is a West Point grad currently on leave from Irag serving in a HQ unit. He was in armored unit and that's where he wants to go back. Don't have his current address, but I'll catch that when I talk to Dad again.
His dad was in the Pathfinders in Vietnam while I served with 1st SFG in Okinawa at same time ('68-70), so we're both proud of the young man.
