There is the cable connection under the seat, but I think that is just for a low-amp trickle charger, so I'm not sure if I can hook this starter battery to that cable without frying some wires. Are there some other, more accessible connection points?
What bike? Knowing the bike model and years helps. The process for a 1989 ElectraGlide is not the same as a 2024 ElectraGlide. An extreme example, but makes my point.

Since you have no electricity at parking spot and do not appear to want to remove battery for charging...
Do you have a second vehicle?
Do you have jumper cables?
With donor vehicle OFF.
Attach positive to starter lug.
Attach negative to muffler clamp.
Allow motorcycle battery to accept a float charge for about 5 minutes.
Then with donor vehicle still OFF.
You can then attempt jump start.
start.
Then ride bike for an hour without turning it off.
The 5 minute float charge gives the battery a head start.

Why not just use his jump pack?

I guess that is a fair comment, given the number of posts that are made to incorrect forums. The bike is a Sportster S. When I made my original post, I thought that would be obvious because this is the Sportster S forum.

Because the direct battery to battery connection for 5 minutes will permit the introduction of a surface charge.
It gives the heavily discharged battery a head start.
Some jump packs do not operate unless a minimum voltage is measured.

There is no key, just the key fob that stays in your pocket. If the bike reads the key fob, you can turn it on by moving the run/stop switch to the "run" position. There is a separate starter button you press to start the engine. You stop the engine by moving the switch back to the "stop" position.
The lights come on when you move the start/run switch to the "run" position. The go off when the switch is move to the "off" position. There is no separate switch for the lights.

I have seen it before, so just confirming.

Might want to bite the bullet and just r/r the battery to add a direct charge cord to it. It's a pain, but you only need to do it once.

Yeah, that might be the way. It just hurts my head to think that would be the only answer. The battery is one of those things that should be easy to get to; this would be a much bigger PITA if I was out of town somewhere.

My son had a brand new battery stolen out of his 08 Sportster, so harder to get to might not be all that bad in certain situations, but I understand where you're coming from.
They were nice and left all the parts so all he had to get was another new battery.
