Check Engine and Trouble Codes
Hey guys, new to the forum and new owner of a 2022 Sportster S.
While driving on the highway going about 65-70 I got a check engine light and the bike lost a bunch of power. I was able to maintain speed down hill but had very little acceleration.
After checking the diagnostics I had a BCM code B217500 and ECM Codes P178500P,P179000P, P179500P, P180000P, and P110000H.
I’ve looked at the PanAm codes guide and the dealer cleared the codes and updated some software. After driving it for another 50ish miles I had the same codes pop up with an H at the end of each code. I called the dealer, cleared the codes myself, drove for another 20lbs miles and the same codes popped up again but with a C at the end.
All the codes have to do with VVT and exhaust Solenoids. Has anyone else experienced this happening or found out how to fix it? I’m taking the bike back this week to get looked at but it’s pretty frustrating to take a bike in twice within a week with less than 400 miles on the odometer.

I was in road/street mode when the codes popped up. There hasn’t been anything specific I was doing while riding. I wasn’t riding it super hard, still following the break in protocol.
I talked to the dealership and they said if the code ends in H it’s historic, if it ends in C it’s a current code. I have it at the dealership getting looked at right now but so far no news.
