I read on the Corbin website the Gunfighter lowers the seat height 1.5 inches. Did you find that to be the case? I am short and this would help, I'm tippy toes with the stock seat. Also did you get the taillight kit? Its all pricy so I am wonder how it looks without that mod.

Never noticed the height difference. I’m 6’1” so never was a need. Probably does lower it. I’m sure if the website claims it, it’s reality.

no tail kit. I think I’m the only one who likes the rear end.

I already love this seat. By far the most comfortable seat I've head in 54 years of riding. I can't wait for it to break in:-).

 

 

I have had quite a few seats. I don't have a solo but their dual tour is the most comfortable seat I have had. I presume the materials are the same.

The sundowner seat is great. Nice and thick with plenty of cushion.

 

I got the Corbin Gunfighter with their tailkit. It is a very comfortable seat, and it looks great on the bike. That's the good news.

The bad news is that I now have a really hot spot under my right leg. It is so hot, in fact, that it is melting a spot on the vinyl side fabric of the seat. Obviously, that is totally unsatisfactory.

So, I called Corbin, and they say there's nothing wrong with the design; I called my Harley dealer, and they say there's nothing wrong with the installation.

That leaves me trying to trouble shoot this situation. With that in mind, has anyone else out there run into this problem with the Corbin seat and tailkit?
