RE: Post a PIC of your sporty
My 1993 XLH 1200 - Also known as "SPIKE"
The sun was in a poor spot for these photos. If I shot the bike from the other side, I would have had a few houses as a backdrop - a mess I was trying to avoid. This bike has a ton of customizing done to it. I had the windshield mounted for these pictures because it was only 6 degrees celcius when I went to work at 6 AM that day. Its a totally different bike with the windshield removed - much nicer in my opinion. I also have the Axe shaped mirrors for it but deemed them completely useless, so for now the stock ones are back on it. The custimization list is as follows (I'm sure I'll forget a few things...) :
- Stretched tank
- Custom fenders
- Lowered suspension 2"
- Chrome engine covers
- LED lighting all around
- Hooker Troublemakerexhaust system(baffles free)
- Forcewind air intake
- Chrome Spike grips
- Chrome Torpedo pegs
- Chrome Flush mount gas cap
- Chrome forward controls
- Chrome Speedo & Tach (8 LED colored backlight settings)
- Chrome headlight
- Chrome battery cover
- Chrome ignition box cover
- Chrome front brake resevoir
- Wide chrome levers
- Chrome switch covers
- Chrome drag bars
- Solo seat (gel)
- Easy pull clutch kit
- Brass temperature gauge / oil dip stick
- Air brushing
Things to come are likely to include the following :
- 80 spoke chrome wire wheels
- Chrome lower belt cover
- Some type of custom mirror - undecided at this point
- Air horn (because I like to be heard)
