Yep, that's why all five sportsters I've owned have had the big gas tanks.

I basically have a 1200T now and if it wasn't intended to be bagged they should have never called it a touring bike, Quote: The Sportster SuperLow 1200T is Harley-Davidsons way of filling the gap in its lineup for a smaller touring bike. The Motor Company increased displacement (and therefore power) of its 883 Sportster SuperLowto 1200cc and added creature comforts to make it more appealing for motorcycle touring.Feb 9, 2016

So just to clarify - do you mean that you installed the primary sprocket/chain from the XL1200 ?

Thanks for any clarification.

Yes, I did the crank gear, primary chain and Screaming Eagle clutch kit a couple years ago. I never had to pull the primary cover when I did the Screaming Eagle 1200 kit. Another interesting note was the tire size, The 1200T ran a taller back tire than what my 883 came with. I'm running the taller back tire also.

Hey Marsikus, looks like you got the 14" ( or 15" ?) Arlen Ness rotor figured out ?
My memory fades, but I believe the last time I heard about this
you were having issues getting it fitted correctly ?

thanks,

T.
