I lived in Nashville for a few years some time ago but unfortunately it was before I discovered the love of riding and I haven't been back on my scoot!!!

 

Just going through the pics in my computer. This is the Sporty I had before I bought my Nightrain. I do miss it. Had S.E. heads ,.497 cams and a 55 tooth rear pulley. Bike used to rip on the parkway. After this winter, the Nightrain should be just as powerful.

Hello all, new to the forum and HD's... I just brought her home yesterday!

 

Had the Sporty since Feb. Been slowly working on it to make it mine. I have a Maier 1/4 fairing w/ a homemade headlight bucket, pony express nylon bags, SE SP's, fender rack, homemade laydown lic. bracket, 3/4 in spacers in forks, FLHPI air shocks with a homemade 1 1/2 inch lift block, some blacking out of some of the chrome, gold pinstripe. Next up full stage 1, nightrider o2 ied's, laydown taillight lens. Headed towards the "cafe style". Bike handles like a dream and is rock steady at high speeds.

 

This is my 2001 XLH. Heres a bunch of pics with the transformation this bike has gone thru. Pretty much how I bougt it was close to this.

Some subtle changes

Cut Fender, side plate, short risers, mirrors underneath , signals relocated, solo seat

Here it is loaded for bear. Tall risers put back on so as to use bag as a backrest. This was done for a 1400+ mile trip from PA to Maine and New Hampshire, home thru New York.

Here we are in New Hampshire. My bike first and riding buddies next, 2002 XL and 2007 Night Rod Special.
