just read on the mustang website that this seat will fit 2004-2011 sportys with 4.5 gallon tank. it wont let me change the title though.

Maybe. What size tank do I have (new bike) Think it's like a 3.5 gallon, sound right? 05 883c

05 883c has the same 4.5 gallon tank the 1200c has so the seat will fit.
