Seat still available? Just want to compare this to saddlemen step up. Any thoughts on the two?
I apologize for being so late to reply. Like most people, my schedule has been significantly altered by this lovely pandemic. To answer your question, yes the seat is available. Comparison wise, I had a Saddlemen Step-up on my '14 Low Rider and ended up returning it after a few rides. Many will say that I didn't give it enough break in time, but I just felt "off" to me right from the start. The two seats have a similar shapes and dimensions, with the Saddlemen being slightly wider all the way around. What I liked about the Lucky Dave's over the Saddlemen was the slightly more rounded shape. Both seats are angular in their shape, but the Saddlemen's are very straight and flat and just didn't work for me. The Lucky Dave's seat was more comfortable right out of the box, especially if you prefer a more narrow seat. After years of road cycling I find that I prefer a more narrow seat that has just enough to support my sit bones. Hopefully that helps.
