Flash tune before or after break-in?
Just ordered the PV-2 from DKcustomproducts! It should be here soon so Im wondering if I should flash the ECM with the modified stock tune as I wait for my exhaust to come in...
I still only have 8 miles on the odometer... haven't been able to really ride due to weather and my arm not being 100%. However when I did take it out to fill it up, I could feel the factory lean fuel ratio on my pants from the exhaust...
So, is it recommended to wait after the break-in? Thoughts?
Thanks!

You're good to go ahead and put the tuner on now. Just make sure you upload the right map for your setup (i.e. don't upload a setup for pipes/AC when your bike is still stock).
Factory tune is not mileage dependent.

I would definitely wait until you are completely done with your break in period. This is the most important time of your bike. Many issues can pop up during this time. It is essential to let everything "get set" in the engine. Not only that, but if you have any warranty issues, you will be covered.
Adding any tuning adjustments will mean that you will have to run your bike at different rpms and calibrations to get a accurate "tune." So YES, wait just a bit to hit that throttle.

You may want to wait until it's broken in to start auto tuning. You won't be able to cover the entire operating range if you follow the break in guidelines.
