RE: HOG Memeber - yes or no?
Not anymore... they gave me a year when I bought the bike... then I dropped it... I have too many insurances already... lol
Got lots of friends with trucks and/or trailers... besides... they'd probably get there faster than roadside assistance anyway... lol

I figure it's worthwhile if only for the roadside assistance / towing. It's cheaper and better service than adding MC coverage to ypur AAA coverage if you have that for your cages. Since I ride solo out of state it's a little bit of security.
A wrecker / tow truck dispatched by HOG comes out prepaired to handle a MC

I'm a member since I purchased my bike new in 03.Haven't used it much either.Just nice to know I have roadside assistance if I ever need it.I never joined a local chapter.Just really don't have the time for that. But I love the 2 magazines I get and the pins and patches.

My wife renewed it back in Jan when I got a e-mail reminder, If she had asked me first I probably would not have renewed. I have read that the roadside assitance is not very good. The magazine is just a sales promotion, the map is a cheap one with a Hog logo on it,and I don't need any patches or pins to put on a leather vest that I would never wear. Went to one local meeting and if you ride a Sportster they can't be bothered with you.
