I have an 08 nightster from time to time while riding or even sitting at a light and twist the throttle ill hear a cling sound. When i get on a freeway and i begin to hammer it it does it multiple times. Please help me out

 

You might want to check your critical fasteners , as shown in the factory manual.
I have read where the dealers don't check (all of) them on a service.
I just checked the front isolater mount cross bolt on my bike and it was way under torque spec and had a funny vibration which is now OK.
Some folks have had the bolts at the cylinder heads near the front link loosen up also.
The manual and a couple torque wrenches will have your machine in fine working order for less than one dealer service from what I've seen.
