There are a couple of guys on the forum that have those pipes......not really sure who it was though.....maybe they will see the thread and comment....

Personnally i have heard mixed reviews on those pipes, so i just ordered the other day my V&H pipes, but i ordered the HS slip ons instead..... i think generally speaking when it comes to pipes that the longer they are the deeper sound you will get..... I hear that the BUB HUG JUGGERS are sweet.......... i just didnt have the 850 to dish out....so i went with V&H slip ons for 250

actually i think that you'll get a little better performance from the SEII.....but better sound (louder) with the V&H

I have them but am replacing them with V&H slip ons. I like the sound of the ss but like the traditional look. BTW I have them for sale on ebay.

I don't know about performance but I have an 06 1200L that I have the V&H Short Shots on and it sounds awesome. It is somewhat loud going down the highway but in my opinion Harleys are suppose to be loud. I personnaly love them.

They are loud, but I like the way they look alot. Performace wise I did the pipes and stage 1 at the same time which really helped the performace of the bike alot. I never liked the look of the staggered stock pipes even with different mufflers.

I love mine! I think they are the best looking pipes out there. They sound awesome. They gave me a boost in power in the upper rpm range and best of all my gas mileage went from 40 to 50 MPG! ...and that's just with the pipes. I haven't changed the air cleaner yet.

Keeping the exhaust crossover is a good thing. Performance wise.

I have had both sets of pipes.
When i had the screamin eagle II's with big city thunder baffles installed, they were louder than my short shots. I sold them to my bro and got the short shots because thats the better look for me.
They are both great, but you should get them if you want. They are good price on ebay for brand new.
