I own a 2014 HD xl1200x is their any reason why the screamin eagle slip on mufflers wouldn't work on mine. On the harley website it gives me the cannon slip ons to choose from.

 

Canon Slip Ons are HD Screaming Eagle.

I miss typed what i was trying to ask. But looking into further it appears the mufflers I want http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...06-8072609a--1 and what the difference between the cannons would be the tip on the end that is optional

 

The pipes on your link are for 2013 models and earlier.
I just went thru this dilemma my self. With the design changes on the 14 model, many slip ons won't work. Adding up the cost of the 2014 Slip Ons & tips, I elected to go with the Vance & Hines Twin Slash 3 Inch Slip Ons.

They are much louder then the Screaming Beagles.

 

That's looking to be the better option. Do you know if the buck shot heat shields for the headers by harley will with those slip ons?
