Default Alarm Security system troubles?

This morning I pull my 07 out of the garage to go for a ride, start it up, let it warm up, turn it off ,go in the house to get ready to leave, come back out turn the key, chirps 2 warnings then alarm comes on, try it several times, still always get alarm.
Changed the battery in the FOB, bike starts right up, turn it off to try it again to make sure, alarm comes on, I don't know the override code, tried resetting it, no luck.
What gives?
Recently installed a brand new digital speedo/tach combo, but have used the bike several times after the install.

Are you sure the new FOB battery is/was fresh and not one that's been sitting in a drawer for a couple of years?

Uggh. My experience with the HD security system has not been positive. In fact, it was so bad, that I replaced the TSSM with a TSM so I wouldn't have to deal with the security system.

I would suggest checking all of your battery connections. Loose battery connections will play havoc on your security system.

Not sure what to tell you but I have the alarm with siren and it worked fine when I got it. I had the digital/ analog speedo tach installed and it acts funny now. I can sometime roll the bike around a little and the alarm doesn't sound for several seconds. Also when I turn off the key now I don't get two chirps any more, now I get three chirps. Not sure but there might be a connection or is it just chance?

I had to install the siren on my 13 1200C. If I remember correctly the antenna is attached to the siren underneath the bike. There is also a battery in the siren itself.

Well, i just got back from a days ride.
This morning i went out to the bike , pulled the seat and side cover off, pulled out the main fuse, check battery connections, and all other connections i could see to make sure the connection was good, wiggled the ecu wire that runs under the seat. Didnt see anything out of the ordinary, put it all back together, it fired right up, no trouble all day.
Somethings, i guess i will just never understand, lol.
