The only problem is, I dont really like the FRAME! Swapping out the std shocks for lowies or struts still looks lame to me.

I may have caused some confusion bro: those arent my bikes. Just examples of what I dont and do like.

 

Its the ANGLES that concern me Dave. a softail setup would be OK if it looked right, just not the rear susp on our beloved late model sporties.

 

I like the second bike a lot better. 1st bike needs blacked out wheels . Why is it that everyone that puts on apes angles them forward. I think they would look a lot better if they werein linewiththe forks.. Mark...

 

because if they were inline with the forks they would be sitting next to your ears...

 

god i love the second bike, maybe higher bars and forward controls or cruise pegs. looking forward to moving house so i can get more room for a workshop/garage so i can start building myself something similar.

It is either where they cut the rear or the color combo. There area couple of black ones on the forum that are real bitchin. They managed to capture the look with the stock frame. Search around here you'll see.
