My take on upgrades are wait a little while go to bike outings see what others have done in upgrades to see if you like them. Same with pipes hear the different sounds ask questions. If you buy something and don't like it that's wasted money. Vance hines straight shots on a sporty sound great Your computer will compensate to a degree for pipes without remaping as long as you don't go all out straight with no baffles. Dealers will tell you what you want to hear so they can take your money. Some dealers are honest. Have fun take your time

I think I did the exhaust at 300 miles, and A/C at 700 miles.

It really doesn't matter when it's done. The only thing that you risk is if you screw something up during the upgrade to make the bike run too lean during break-in. The chance of that is small and the bike would have to be run really lean for a very long time to do damage. Some people had stage 1 done before picking up their bikes.

Thanks for all the good info guys, I plan on running a short baffel in those pipes. I had a feeling the dealer was not giving me the whole truth, hence why I asked the question here. I plan on having the bike dyno'd after I install all the goodies, and I will post the results here. The wet dreamz are supposed to be some wicked pipes, and with the short baffel installed you have about a 30% drop in noise and allmost no compromise in power. I think the setup will do well and like I said I will reply with the results and upload my map when it is complete

You want to wait until the bike is broken in before you put it on the dyno. Installing a stage 1 before the bike is broken in and putting it on the dyno are two different things.

The wet dreamz will be some wicked looking pipes, but I doubt they will perform well.
