Passenger seat for 48
Hey all,
I know there's been some discussion about passenger pillions and seats already on here, but I'd like to know what my options are in terms of getting a passenger pillion or seat for my forty eight.
I've currently got a 2013 48 with the solo springer seat on it (the brown leather one here: http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/solo-spring-saddle )
I'd like to get something (or make something) for my old lady to sit on the back. I'd like to to: 1. Look cool and not clash with my seat and 2. possibly be detachable.
I'm partial to making something funky myself (we've got a ton of cool old vintage leather and stuff we can use to upholster it but I'm not sure where to start in terms of a pan and hardware for the seat, what foam(s) to use etc.) any help and references would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
(side note: I've already got the back pegs for the bike just need to put them on)

dont know if you saw it or not but sterling makes a pillion that matches that seat exactly. You can usually find them on EBay. They are not real cheap but what the hell, you already got stung (as did I so I can say that) on the ridiculously priced "mounting kit" so whats a few more dollars!
