Howdy,
Wondering if anyone can give me the appropriate range of a 2.1 gallon tank?
My mother in law is coming next week, and I'm trying to get as far away as possible...from what I've heard, I'll be filling up hourly with highway riding...

110 miles is the furthest I went.

 

Has anything changed since you said this?

 

100 miles easily

 

short enough that got me to install a 3.1 off of a Nightster, amazing what that extra gallon does.

 

100 easy? Best I've done is 105 doing 65 without tapping the brakes once. Around town 85.

 

Not sure. Mine starts to stall/choke at around 70mpg. I think I've reached up to 80mpg before getting gas.

 

Both my '13 iron and '07 roadster could get to 90 miles before the light or reserve, then another 20 miles easy.

 

Highway riding at 80-90, got into town at 78 miles on the tach had the "hiccup" of gasoline starvation, made it to the gas station at 79 miles and put in 1.9 gallons into my tank for 7.05! Stock 2014 48.
