Stopping brake light from lighting up
I want to only have the brake light to light up when I push my rear brake and not have it light up when squeezing front lever. Is there any way to do this?

If its like the tourers, there is a plastic button on the brake lever that breaks real easy when you replace the levers, just break it off.
But yeah, why?

You need to use a special single filament bulb, ask the dealer for a rear filament bulb.

er...no
then the brake light won't come on at all.
OP still wants brake lights when he jumps on the rear brake.

Disconnect/remove the front switch...Easy.
I used to always disconnect the switch on the front brake, there are some pretty good reasons to not want a brake light under certain conditions.
