I had the same problem with my 1/2 bucket even with a windshield. I started using a flip down visor on the highway & no more problem.

Duct tape.
Run a wide strip along the front lip of your helmet, attach to forehead.

@ 17% off they didn't tell you that the "look up" option was not included with your lid. Gotta be careful of those sales...
