Default Wifes sporty leaking from clutch cable/primary

After I installed new levers on my wifes 07 XL883L, it developed a leak from the primary where the clutch cable goes in.

I noticed the cable was really loose and an o-ring was exposed. I pushed the o-ring back into the primary but the cable...its like it popped out of the primary housing or something.

Any ideas?? Something I should drain the primary and take a look myself or take it to the shop??

Thanks

Someone else posted a similar problem yesterday.

The cable threads into the primary, take a 1/2in wrench and tighten it up. Hopefully the threads aren't stripped or some nonsense. Not too tight, just snug.
