Thank you to all! Guy rode bike to work and wife texts me that he's happy...no more leaks. Musta been the clogged vent line.

That cover is where so you can adjust the chain. Most places say "1/2 of play. You can fill from there, but most recommend through the derby cover so that you can see the level of the oil. But if it's empty 1 quart should do the trick.
