Default I finally put the new jets in

I started to do the job 1 day but stopped thinking it was too hard for me.But I went to the dealer and they wanted me to buy the jet kit from them when I already bought the jets from Sorgys on Ebay.So I went to the fix-it-yourself section here and printed the instrutions and decided to give it a shot.It took me 45 minutes from 1st wrench to test drive.Very easy indeed.WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!
It's like a whole new machine.Takes off much faster and no more carb farts.I used 170/45 jets.I also got the 180 but it seems great withthe 170.So now with Vance&Hines straightshots,K&N filter,Screamin Eagle coil, plugs, and wires it is fast as hell. Will have to pay attetion for a bit so as not to do any wheelies.Too bad I'm in Ohio cause it was 80 yesterday and snowing today.DAMN THIS WEATHER!

Way to go! It really is a DIY project but many are "scared off" because it involves the carb. Taking your time with the proper instructions and tools, as you did, not only opens up the breathing for that Milwaukee V-Twin, but also gets you more familiar with your bike in the process. Kudos to you!

By the way, nice lookin' ride!

Good job. Always better to do things yourself if you can, then you know it's been done right!

Way to go, I did mine 3 weeks ago I felt the same way almost chickened out afraid I would screw something up and the bike wouldn't start. Sunday afternoon I jumped into it took me 45-1hr and now the bike runs great and I wish I did it last year.
