I currently have a '13 sportster 48 and I'm looking to start personalising it, I'm looking to get a standard HD tank that I can airbrush and bolt straight - preferably a larger capacity than the 7litres I have now. Any pointers to any for sale or anyone willing to sell to me greatly appreciated.

You might like the 3.3 gallon that is what I changed mine to on my 48. Also look on eBay.

 

Ask at your local dealer. I picked up a 3.3 gallon tank with a dime-sized chip in it for 150$.

Never hurts to ask, right?

 

Well, I have a 2011 Forty-Eight and I am running a 4.5 gallon tank. Here are a few PICs for reference:








I have about a 200 mile range with the 4.5 tank. I very much like the look of this tank on the Forty-Eight - sort of makes me think of the old Indian Scouts.......may be just me .
