Default 2nd place in show

Went to the Nash Farms Battlefield 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza Live bands, lawnmower races and of course fireworks. They also had a car/truck/bike show. Girlfriend said I should enter my bike.......so I did. Wow what an ego boost, 100s of people oogleing and wowing over my bike. Main question after "is this your bike?" was "what year is it?" After I tell them 2011 90% expressed disbelief. I have my Ironbutt challenge pin pinned to my saddle bag, more disbelief when I told them yes, I did 1000 miles in 21 hours on THAT bike

I got second place, was beat by a pretty nice 55 Chevy

Default bike show

Congrats on the trophy. Bike looks great. Everything ties together nicely. I like the size/height of the bars as well.

...more interesting than the 55

Congrats and well deserved Rog, you've done a great job on that bike. Yea, I understand it's tough to beat a good 55 or 57 Chevy...

Congrats! I always think your bike has a WWII era look to it, even though I know it's only a few years old. That may be why people were confused when you told them the model year!

The hardest part was just leaving my bike there when I went off to enjoy other events. 1000s of people walking around, many with grabby little kids....................but nothing happened

Nice job!!

At least you got beat by one the most iconic vehicles ever made and not a AMC Gremlin, lol.
