Inherited a 99 speedo/tach and mount in a trade. I've got a 05 883 custom with the riser I hate. Is there a possibility the 99 speedo or tach would work as a plug in on my 05? Any suggestions on how I could use these parts to remove the stock custom riser and put short standard risers on? I checked and the indicator light unit is different. I've spent time reading all the posts on the change from custom riser to stock and get more confused as I read. My goal is to use short stock risers with speedo tucked above headlight.
