RE: Why should I stick with my Sportster?
well..its all on what you like.. ride the v-rod and if u like it go for it.. If you take long trips you will be filling up more often that sportster with custom tank.. One of my friends had a sporty just like me and traded it in on a V-rod. He likes his rod but recently he purchased him another sporty.. (still has the rod)... He said he had to get another one. ...

test ride the V Rod and a few others as long as your mind is not made up, maybe a bagger(Hertiage).
I myself love the Sporty, and would like a touring ride, but haven't decided on what. I have been looking at a Vulcan 1600, the price is right, and I really don't have $19 K to flopp down on another Harley.
Good Luck

The bike imo was developed to grab part of the RUB crowd going to metric bikes.Everyone I have seen riding them so far is a professional type person.I however am not.You do what you need to do.I would still ride with you even if you bought a Suzuki.Good luck I wish you well in your decision.

A V-rod looks like fun, but I wouldn't want to give up my Sportster, so I guess I'll have to wait for a lottery win.
