Default Brake/Clutch/Throttle differences from 95-97

I just picked up a 95 Sportster for a work and back bike and Im wanting to put some taller bars on it. For cable kits it looks like everyone makes them for 97 and newer but nothing for a 95. Im deleting the turn signals and start controls from the bars and relocating, so I just need some new cables. Would a kit for a 97 work on a 95?
