Question Arlen Ness Big Sucker questions....

Looking to replace the stock air cleaner. After doing so, would I need to recalibrate any fuel mixture? Is the fuel mgt device really needed? I'm not looking to squeak every ounce of performance out of her, just want the new air cleaner for looks, the stock version is hideous.

This is for a 2014 Superlow 883

stock exhaust? if so, i'll be fine.
with the arlen ness big sucker and vance n hines slip on short shots on my 2014 forty eight, I noticed there was A LOT of decel pop, but thats why I did the dyno tune.

I was able to ride around with both intake and exhaust with NO tune just fine, warm up just took a little longer in the winter. My ear drums hated me.

You'll be okay, it'll just be running leaner.

Here's a little side note, my 2014 Forty Eight with Arlen Ness Big Sucker and Slip on short shots WITHOUT a tune was at 75hp.

If you've got an aftermarket exhaust on too you'll need to get a tuner. If you're still running the stock exhaust and you only replace the stock AC with that ness big sucker you won't need one.

This is the rule;
Change one of the two (exhaust or AC)----no need for a tuner
Change them both----tuner required

Thanks guys. Nice info to have. I'll get one on order. Next year, I'll replace the exhaust.
