seat change

I have a new 06 XL883L,with a 4.5 tank. current seat is from 06 XL1200C,but puts me too close to tank.I need a longer seat so I can sit farther back.Thinking about a sidekick,but no one has one in stock to measure.Anyone have one and can you give me length? Or any suggestions for longer seat,thanks.
