ok guys i would love to swap the stock bar on the iron for the Biltwell keystones 1". The issue i have is im a short dude and what im asking from you guys is are these bars moving your riding possition more foward or backwards??? I am already strech with the stock bars if you know what i mean....

I am 5'6" and have these bars with a stock custom riser and with the bars rotated towards me as much as possible, I still have to lean forward about 1-2inches. I'm looking to raise my riser 1-2inches to help out.

I love the bars, because of how the grips are almost straight across. What kind of risers do you have? Do you plan on changing risers? Be sure to post pics after.

 

I wanted some because they look awesome. I put them on in the morning, rode to work, and took them off immediately that afternoon. I'd be crippled if I kept those on my bike. Compared to the stock bars, they're narrower, there's much less pullback (meaning you lean forward more), and the downward angle of the bars just made them incredibly uncomfortable for my wrists and back. I'm 5'10".
Some guys love 'em, so you'll get all kinds of answers. For me the stock bars are 10X more comfortable.
The only real way to know is to try them.

 

I'd say you don't want em but if you insist I'll sell you the pair I just got here and never installed. I'm 5'9" and kind of build like an orangutang (long limbs not covered in orange hair). I've got forwards with drag bars that are plenty comfortable and was looking to raise up just a touch so I was slightly more upright. the Keystones would have had me more hunched over due to the lack of pullback, thus not getting installed.

I think it depends on the risers you will be using, I have the stock custom riser and the bars pulled back towards me as far as they go and like I said I am pretty comfortable when sitting on the bike. I'd just like them to be 1-2inches closer. I have short arms and only 5'6" and they work for me. I can send you a picture of me on the bike if you want to show you my position.

 

If you could send me a pic ya it would be great...that would help a lot ....

 

Do you need to extend the wires if you would run them internally?
