Default Engine Guard and Fog Lamps...

Went to my local HD store yesterday and bought an Engine guard for my 2011 Superlow, I asked about the fog lamps that mount on the Guard and we looked them up. They are color coded in the catalog for Sportsters but the description read that they would not fit the Guard for my year model bike? My Question is, is this a discrepancy in the description or will they not fit the Guard for my bike? The parts counter guy said it could just be a discrepancy, so I'm looking for confirmation. Has anyone else added fog lamps to the engine guards?

You may have to go aftermarket due to the curve of the guard. And there are plenty to pick from.

Welcome to HDF from the UK. I have a 2011 SuperLow, although I haven't fitted any foglamps, but have them on my Glide. Tell us the part number of your guard and we can be a bit more helpful!

It depends on what kind of engine guard and what kind of fog lamps are mounted together. If the items you looking for are same as below, then, yes, they can be mounted together, but result may not be same as you expected because of the engine guard curve.

Here is my engine guard and lights

Thanks for the replies, the Engine Guard kit is # 49287-11 . The Guard looks to be the same as the one in the picture next to the fog lamp kit.

Due to the curve, not many points can be used to mount the lights. Here are an example:

Or search for other after market lights with this type of bracket.
This combination should be more flexible on mounting and adjustment. This is from PIAA

Thanks for the info. The Light's actually look pretty good in the position they are in on the guard in those pics, something to consider. I will do more research to look for other alternatives on the Lighting accessories. Again thank you for the information.
