What's a good alternative to the OEM ignition switch?

You probably already thought of this but if you use your fork lock, you are going to have to carry two keys unless you have the new ignition or the fork lock re-keyed.

If you decide to go with factory replacement, you might check with Kutter.

If I give my key code I can use the same key. I just don't know if I can do that through Surdyke or Kutter. I may have to use my local stealer.

I'll disassemble it this weekend and see if it's repairable.
