Garage Door Opener Finally Installed

RE: Garage Door Opener Finally Installed
The attachment to the garage door opener is simple, you just plug the receiving unit into an electrical outlet, then it attaches to the opener in the same matter you would attach the wires from a wall mounted doorbell button type of opener switch.
It's awesome, my neighbors freeked out the first time they saw me ride in, flash my lights and the door opened. My neighbor thought I was flashing my lights at him, just as a neighborly gester. But then, he had to ask how I got the door to open. He thought I had installed some type of electric eye or something like that to trip the door to open. Obviously, he isn't too mechanically minded.
I didn't want to use the key fob deal, because in the summer, I ride with half finger gloves, and didn't want to grab something hot while I was pulling in the driveway. And in the winter, I have on soo many layers of clothes, it would usually be difficult to get to the opener in my pocket to use it. So, before I got this device, I had to get off the bike, and enter the code on the outside keypad to get the door open. I know that's not a big deal, I just love gadgets like this.

I would have never thought that you could put a garage door opener on a bike. Quite an awesome idea, and it seems kind of like somethink from the movies....Flash the lights and the doors open.
