Default V&h side shots or v&h short shots???

I'm looking to get a new exhaust system for my 48 I'm still debating on what to get if u could get me some input guys on what system sounds better I like the look of the side shots and I have been looking up vids on you tube let me know what u guys think

The 48 is an awesome looking bike! I like to sound and looks of the big radius on the 48.

Depends what you want, I opted for the V&H Twin slash slipons because I like the long style pipes and the sound was not as loud as the short shots. I find them too harsh.

Then you will want the short shots. Had a set on both my Softail and 05 Sportster that I used to have and they were nasty in a good way.

I have used V&H Straight Shots on 3 of the 4 Harleys I’ve owned (and two of those have been 48s). I use them along with an OEM Round High Flow A/C (without a cover) and a FP3. I think that combo is pure gold.

I have the side shots with stock baffles and TT inserts. The are loud but not as high pitched as my friend who has the short shots on his sportster.
