Default Wiring Extension Kit Length

I am planning to use the below linked wiring extension kit while installing Licks 10" Z bars on my 2014 48. Can anyone guide me if the 8" kit will be adequate or if I have to go with the 12" kit? Since it is all plug and play without soldering I don't want to end up with a kit that is too short, but I would prefer not having a ton of excess wiring hanging around.

Thanks

I just put 8 inch Z bar style bars on mine last weekend and we added about 6 inches of wire and it was pretty close. I'd almost say go with the longer kit. I'd also double check that the kit is designed for your bike.

I saw they they also sell wiring extension kits that have the proper male and female ends on them. That would work if the harness doesn't.
