I picked mine up the DAY they were released for the 2014 sportsters... I absolutely love them... they sound amazing, I've gotten quite a few compliments on them just riding around base... Hell today, on my way home I had a guy chase me down just to ask what they were...

They were pricey but, I accidentally purchased the exact bike a friend had (i had never seen it in person, and he didn't know anything about it when he told me about it until he saw pictures of mine), he has the V&H short shots which was the original setup I wanted but, after seeing that, I opted to be different...

I also have a V&H Naked VO2 intake that, I used a black CD as a "cover" for... I really like the look...

You won't be disappointed... cheapest I have found them for new (for the 2014 sporties) was $612 on revzilla.com

EDIT: here is my youtube video of the first start up after completing the exhaust install... don't mind my mini orgasm at the end, kind of "prematurely" cut the video off after that...

I got them on my 48. They aren't as deep toned as my friends short shots with the extra baffles but they are loud and mean.

I have them on my 2012 Forty-Eight and love them. Along with the screaming eagle heavy breather air cleaner I gained a good amount of power and sounds great. You will not be disappointed with them if u decide to get them. I did scrape them quite a bit but I ride harder than I probably should in the turns.

With forward controls I did not like them going over top of rear brake and foot peg. The samskns were what I wanted but couldn't afford them at time. Look at the Samson hell raisers as well.

So now that I have done a bit more research, based on reviews and HD Forum members experience, and found that people are dragging their pipes on tight, sharp, rights I have started looking at some other options. Really dig the straight look anyways, as opposed to the Big Radius (with the curve), so been eying the Freedom Performance Slashout Black V-Twin pipes

aAnyone have any experience with these?
