Default New 48 Owner - Seat

I just picked up a beauty 48 and while I love the bike, the seat is awful. What are people suggesting as the best options for solo seats? Please post up some pics of what you have as I need something ASAP.

Congrats on the new scoot!

Solo Spring Seats with Barrel Springs are hard to beat comfort wise.

Click HERE to see lots of pictures and options.

So are those springer seats truly comfortable for multiple hour rides? I just put a mustang vintage solo, comfy on the butt however not a good fit shape wise for me

I've got the Le Pera Café seat. Love it. Makes me feel like i'm part of the bike, sitting in it as opposed to on top of it about to fly off. The stock seat is horrible.

Yeah I have to agree with you, stock seat is like sitting on a rock. Springer seat is the best choice and it looks great.

Yes the HD springer seat is pretty high quality for sure and the fit is so comfortable compared to the stock seat. It has a lip on the back that keeps your **** on the saddle at high acceleration. Plus I like the look of it, but that's just a taste preference.

Hmmm thanks. I hadn't even considered a springer thought it was more for looks and less for comfort (and I do like the looks)

If you have budget in mind I would steer away from the HD springer seat, they are way over priced. You can find many alternatives out there for much cheaper. You might even be able to pickup a nice setup in the classifieds section of this site.
