What's up with all this "Sporty" talk???

I cant claim to have come up with this, but someone said if the sporty is an entry level bike, the bagger is a departure level bike. As in, you're too old and soft to ride a real bike so you need all the creature comforts and amenities as you get ready to depart this world. Lol

"It's not too heavy to kick out of a slide like those bikes that are near 800 lbs."
"I laugh when I see women and many men on tourer's knowing if they drop it they can't pick it up or even back it up a moderate incline. Its not disrespect its a matter of honesty. They bought into the HD sales model."
"A near 900cc/1200cc machine isn't small in the eye of anybody but HD riders and there marketing agenda."

Like, ....how many slides have you "kicked" your Sporty out of ??
When I bought my bagger, I sure as hell didn't buy into anybody's "sales model". I tour, and as such the Ultra was my decision. I'm not worried about picking it up because I DON'T DROP IT.
Get a clue.
